| Cumberland Valley Ice Hockey |
The 2009 – 2010 Cumberland Valley Ice Hockey Club (CVIHC) is envisioning a
strong run for the Bear’s Cup this year and in years to come. The club will be fielding
a group of very talented and dedicated Varsity players and developing their younger
players with a Varsity Tier 3 team and two Middle School teams.
The Eagles have, for the 6th year, Varsity head coach, Mike Lombardi. Mike has
taught many of the returning players from the time they began to play hockey and
feels he has a winning team this year and in years to come. The experience of Brad
Findley, Joe Gandolfo and Scott Musser will assist Mike on the ice and behind the
bench.
Cumberland Valley will be starting this year with a group of talented and dedicated
players. Leading the way will be this year's captain and Senior Jeff Pope. Joining
Jeff will be Seniors Tom Lacey, Ryan Handley, Grant Royer, Nick Valek and Joe
Wilson-Arena. The Cumberland Valley Eagles are happy to have the talents of this
year's Juniors Kyle Paul, Andrew Fiske, Garth Rickards, Nick Lombardi, Scott
Musser, Casey Lininger, and Adam and Jake Thomas. Filling the bench are
Sophomores John Gandolfo and Corey Masse.
Combining with the defense to keep the puck out of the net will be the experienced
goal tending of Senior, Kenny Wenk and Sophomore, Jacob Morrow.
